Good to know

How much does a skip bin cost?

Prices start from $280 for a 2m³ bin up to $980 for a 10m³ bin, depending on size and waste type. Every price includes delivery, hire and a set weight allowance. See the for the full breakdown.

What size skip bin do I need?

A 2m³ mini suits small clean-outs, 4m³ suits a garage clean-out or small reno, 6m³ suits a kitchen or bathroom reno, and 7–10m³ suits a full home renovation or demolition job. Not sure? Call the yard and we'll size it for you.

Can I put concrete or masonry in a skip bin?

Concrete and masonry are only accepted in the 2m³, 3m³ and 4m³ bins — not in the 6m³, 7m³, 8m³ or 10m³ bins.

Who we are

Newcastle Skip Co ("we", "us") provides skip bin hire across Newcastle and the Hunter region, NSW. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.newcastleskipco.com.au, how we use it, and how you can access or correct it. What we collect

  • Name, phone number and email address, when you request a quote, book a skip, or create an account
  • Delivery address and suburb, including any addresses you save to your account
  • Job details you tell us, such as bin size, preferred delivery date and what you're clearing out
  • Payment card details, collected and stored directly by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number ourselves
  • Basic account information (email and encrypted password) if you create a login

How we use it

We use your information to quote, schedule and deliver skip bin hire, to charge for confirmed bookings, to contact you about your booking, and to let you save addresses for faster bookings in future. We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information with the service providers that help us run this website and business:

  • Stripe — processes and securely stores payment card details
  • Supabase — hosts our customer accounts, saved addresses and booking database

Both are established providers with their own security and privacy practices. Data held with them may be stored on servers outside Australia. We don't share your information with any other third party, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

Card details are handled entirely by Stripe using industry-standard encryption — they are never stored on our own systems. Account and booking data is protected with access controls that restrict it to authorised staff only.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us at any time for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data. Contact us using the details above and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies

This site uses only the essential cookies/local storage needed to keep you logged in if you create an account. We don't use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.
